Today I decided to do some serious art consumption. I went to see the Francis Bacon exhibition at
Tate Britain. Amazing collection of work, a retrospective of one of the world's greatest painters. Was really great to see how his work progressed through the years, a must see!
I then wandered down the southbank with my friend Lorna to go to the see the Mark Rothko exhibition at the
Tate Modern. It was the first day of the show and was truly magnificent! Huge canvases were hung together in a dimly lit room. I am a massive fan of Rothko's paintings so was in my element walking through this exhibition.
