Stripey walls

On a recent trip to Amsterdam, I came across this super stripey wall in a restaurant. Strips of varying colours added some vibrancy to the interior of this huge open plan room. Love it!

Illumination Incredible No.1

...wandering the streets of London at the moment is pure a visual pleasure. These are the lights hanging along the streets around the seven dials. How wonderful? More to come soon of my favourite festive findings.

Pop Up to my Shop...

Oblong Gallery invites everyone to an Art and Craft Pop-Up Shop displaying an eclectic range of objects for sale made by various artists and makers. Including all the ChickP ranges! We (myself and my friend Melina who runs Oblong) have transformed the gallery into a magical shopping wonderland. Come and join us on wednesday for a cosy evening of mulled wine and ginger biscuits! you will have the opportunity to feast your eyes on a delightful collection of products made by various super talented folk. ...are being made! I have been busy cutting, packaging and making things for the up-coming Pop Up Shop at Oblong. I have handmade some new colourful badges. Also a selection of new colouring in stickers!

We Make...

...is happening tomorrow! Myself and a few other like-minded makers decided we needed an affordable place to sell our wares in London. Soon we realised it was limited and expensive so we formed a little collective and here we are on our second Art and Craft show! We Make is about smaller, independent makers being able to sell their stuff, how they want to and has the 'lets just do it ourselves!' ethos. Jim Lambie's Tacky Floor

I love Jim Lambie's ZOBOP! piece from the exhibition at the Moma. Color Chart celebrates the lush beauty that results when contemporary artists assign color decisions to chance or a readymade source. The exhibition features work by some forty artists ranging from Ellsworth Kelly and Gerhard Richter to Sherrie Levine and Damien Hirst.
